It is vital that you complete all daily work, homework, and summative assessments on time, as well as actively participate in classroom discussion. In doing so, you will be better prepared to intelligently analyze and critique textual materials; in addition, you will learn more.
Late Work: formative work will not be accepted late unless extenuating circumstances warrant an exception; please discuss late work concerns directly with Mr. Brown. Ultimately, be responsible and get your work in on time. Summative assessments will lose a letter grade each day they are late. You will only have two late passes all semester.
Makeup Work: If you are absent, it is your responsibility to check with me to obtain your missing work. You will have two days for each day you are absent to make up work. You are, however, expected to check all homework on the website each and every night you are absent.
Procedures and Classroom Rules (see course syllabi)
Tardy Policy: you are tardy if you are not in the room when the bell rings. You will receive warnings for your first two tardies. After three tardies, you will be referred to administration.
